Big Title

I'm just another expat writer from the USA, living in Madrid since 1991.

I was born on Long Island, New York, and raised there and in Lexington, Massachusetts, where the "shot heard round the world" was fired, kickstarting the American Revolution and guaranteeing tourists.

I have a BA in Theater from tiny, now sadly defunct Marlboro College in southern Vermont, and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the Yale School of Drama (now renamed for David Geffen).

I moved to Spain when I married a Spanish woman, not intending to stay so long. I love it here, it's long since become home to me, and it's much too late to go back. No regrets.

I taught theater and creative writing for many years at Saint Louis University's Madrid campus, but I'm retired now. I'm also a widower, which is what my book Maritxu is about.

It's been gratifying in recent years to get a few things published. I'll try to keep it going.
